    Re: Your dream home?

I'm really too small to need a pickup truck, but I absolutely love the thing. Something about it just appeals to me. I guess it's that country-hick-girl thing.

      Re: Your dream home?

My problem is that I hate disorder and uncleanliness, but I hate to clean. So I did what was necessary to keep me from living in a constant mess.

My office is generally left alone, however. Save for dusting and vaccuming. It's not like she goes in and tries to refile everything.

            Re: Your dream home?

I solve that by eating out almost every meal. But some nice cooking would be handy!

edit: Considering I spent two years working for a company devoted entirely to cooking (tools, gadgets, food, etc.) you'd think I would have been more amenable to the idea. I like food, I just don't like to cook. Actually, I mostly don't like to clean after cooking. Back to square one.

I like cooking, but I hate ovens.

              Mostly microwaves for me.

I eat out all the time, but the thing is I like to cook. The problem occurs when I don't think about cooking (or have time, I work evenings) until I'm already hungry. Waiting another hour or so to make a full dinner just doesnt seem right, so I just go out. Its sad, the local burger place down the road doesn't ask for my name anymore when I call in an order. I just tell them what I want, drive down to pick it up and they hand me my food and I hand them the money. Very cool, but kinda sad too.

Anyway, about houses, personally I want a decent sized cabin in the middle of the Rockies. Drive to town once a week and pick up groceries. There's certainly something to be said for living the simple life.

                  Re: Your dream home?

kinda makes me wish there weren't taxes even if you're living in the middle of nowhere.

Would be kinda interesting to be totally self-sufficent, but since you have to pay people anyway, you have to have a way to make money, which means you have to get yourself back into the system =/

No, it's just true that bigger is better. :D (But that's no excuse for the half-assed crappy car designs in Europe.)

Myself? Build me a house on the Colorado River directly connected to the Hoover Dam for electricity to power my stuff.

Thats not a house its a packing crate with windows.

On another note dose anybody else here hate their yard? When we were building the house I told my wife I diden't want a yard but she insisted that we have one. I would have been happy with asphalt if the front and astroturf in the back.

lol, I think most people that mow their own lawns would be happy if they could replace it with synthetics.

And no, smaller is superior. Bigger is only better if you're compensating ;O

                            Re: Your dream home?

I'm a middle-sized person. I would go mad in a mansion/big house, but a house like Feba's would be a little to small for me. I could stay there for a few days alright, but I would need a bigger one to live in. And Feba, I know what you mean about being territorial. Once my family and I stayed in a small cottage up at Grand Lank that would be perfect for me, lets see if I can find it...

                            Double Post Edited:
                            Ok, here are some pictures:

Any my favorite part, the loft:

                            The colors in some of the rooms look a little odd, and I wouldn't want it that way, but the house itself I love. I would probably end up buying this except the location is horrible, and they re-did the pain scheme so it's ugly now ; ;

                            But you get the idea

                            EDIT: Oh, yeah:

That's a nice place though, seriously, but definitely needs some new decoration.

I'd want a condo in the middle of a nice city. Possibly waterfront or close to it. 5th story, corner with a balcony.
