I was watching the world cup this year and must say I was impressed by the Ghania team. I was hoping the last match woulda been with my two favorite teams.
Brazil and Italy.. but it didnt happen , so I wasnt to upset that one of my teams made the cut and got to the finals. Even though france got there with some controversy.

Then during the last game Zidane pulls this shit..


After that I knew it was over... So happy the french team lost.
Zidane was a respectable player but now frak him...

But Zidane got Italian player pulling his arms like almost the entire time he was there. I can see why he lose temper there. A lot of my friends are kinda pissed at italy's little cheating here and there.

i am part itialin 10% mostly dutch though. I was very upset that france lost. I think they are a great team and should have won but shit happens. I did not want italy to win becuase alot of itilans think they are gods ( i am a water at the itialin resturant)

Yeah, glad Italy won, but more glad France lost.

Seriously, you're a professional in what is likely the biggest game of your life. This isn't some pickup game at the park where you're looking to get into a fight. Even such traditional comments about moms, sisters, or wives just seem too petty to do something like that in a game this big. Funny nevertheless.

I really cant believe Zidane of all players would take a crack at someone in the final of a world cup. For goodness sakes its the biggest damn game on all year. I seriously believe he could have won the penalties for them, think he will be in alot of trouble.

Some more info on the headbutt. Zidane claims that Materazzi called his mother a terrorist or something similar. Materazzi denies it though.

Or rather, he called Zidane a terrorist (or muslims in general) and his mother a whore. (nice), so Zidane claims, but while Materazzi does admit to provoking Zidane verbally, he denies using those terms.
