Thai usually means someone from Thailand.

Re: what does "Ji mao ya" mean?

I happen to work with someone who is fluent in chinese, and I posed this question to him...

What does Ji mao ya? mean? (used just as I typed)..

                  His reply:
too common...might be a kind of duck used in cooking, might be vernacular for how much change is due

h,, so it means "too common"? Or is he saying it can mean many things?

Re: what does "Ji mao ya" mean?

he's saying the phrase is too common, and that it is either a reference to a cooking duck, or aking "how much" or "how much change is due"

If it's chinese, then without context and/or accents, it'd be hard to say what that means
