Late Night Dreams

Has anyone else fallen asleep during game play? It's happened to me once or twice, but the funny thing is are the dreams I have afterward. So I was wondering if anyone else has had some similar experiences.

Here's a perfect example;

* ok so that night I was pt'ing in Qufim and it was late, my eyes were drooping, and I was drooling- so I went to bed. Now all I remember from the dream is that I was still in Qufim, but my party size had decreased (now only 3 of us). A Galkan WAR, Taru THF, and me WHM. Anyway we're on our way back to Jueno when I come across a chest, hidden on the side of a mountain. So I walk over and open it, and it turns out to be.................a Leopard Thong!?? (what?). But the strange thing was that my party was ecstatic- the Galka told me we needed it for our next quest. haha

Are you sure you're not making stuff up just to make a porn movie out of FFXI? J/K.

I've had dreams after I fall asleep while playing FFXI where I would be my main-character in-game doing something similar to the night before. Even funnier since my main character IS female and I'm a guy afterall.

Hm, that's one naughty dream

I have fallen asleep while gaming before, but my only memory of a dream was something from around the time I got my AF1 for samurai for the first time, and dreamt that I got the whole AF set.

I've had what i call eye burn which is when you've been doing a long session ont he game, go to bedclose your eyes and you can still see your character and party in teh zone you were just playing.

I fall asleep and never dream while playing the game, but I do awake to my pt being slaughtered as I stand there not curing.

Heh. I've had some dreams.

One was me being in a mechanized Ghelsba Outpost, running around and killing Orcs. Nothing special.

Another was me in Riverne Site #C01 (Yes. Co1). We fight a NM called Variable Fly. It was a TOUGH fight. The mob was transforming into random things, but all being parts from the KH Guardian thingie in Twighlight Town, and a fly. I nearly died in the fight, but we still won. Freaky thing was that a NM Magic Pot mob, Va'lyia (Or something) popped but was owned by the THF very quickly. The drops from it were crayons that were uber valuable. And yes, I was the Blue Mage! =D

I've pulled all-nighters a couple of times playing the game, you just need to entertain yourself by either talking on the phone or watching TV at the same time.
Grinding can be really boring -_-

Who here has fallen asleep in the middle of a PT, and woke up dazed and confused, no clue where you were, but with 3000 more EXP?

I fell asleep in an EXP party once... no dreams, but I rarely have any anyway.
I felt horrible about it when I woke up two hours later, and they had (understandably) kicked me, but they were nice enough to D2 me.

I like to PT during JP prime time. Which usually starts around 3AM all the way until 10AM. So you can guess how often I fall asleep. Being a Rdm makes it even worse xD

I saw my PT member's HP going down, I know i have to cure him. Then I suddenly passed into dream world... and in my dream, I cure. Then I woke up and realized I didn't really cure.

So yea, sometimes I fall sleep multiple times during 1 single battle. I even start spamming the wrong macro because I see them differently in my dream too (but my fingers still pressing the real controller)

Back when the first Gameboy came out, it came with Tetris. My mother and I played for so long that we'd see the shapes when we'd try to go to sleep. I've confirmed this with a few other people who were Tetris junkies.

Back on topic, while I've never fallen asleep during FFXI, I used to fall asleep while mudding all the time. Follow one character, auto-assist in fights as just a damage dealer, no need to use any of my macros.... all too easy to fall asleep.
