Hilary is running for senator again this coming election. She already stated that she will not be running for President despite rumors otherwise.

Believe it when I see it. You can always run for presidency in the middle of your senatorship.
Btw, who would they use if not Hilary?

Because I'm Canadian, I try not to keep up with American Politics. However, it gets shoved down my throat quite often being that I'm in university, and many students up here are Americans, so it comes up a lot in conversations.

However, the last I checked up, the next big Democratic hopeful is Senator Evan Bayh from Indiana. From what I hear, many consider him to be the next Bill Clinton in terms of fiscal discipline, community based policy making and welfare reforms. Considering the shameful way that George Bush is leaving the country in for the next election, most Americans are going to be looking for answers to the ever-growing yet widely ignored economical crisis. Their best bet is in a fiscally conservative moderate. Judging from the crazed right-wingers that the republicans have lined up in their bullpen, the only good choice would be Bayh.

Were I to put a bet on who would be the next president in 2008, it'd be him.

A more liberal possibility would be Joe Biden Jr, who is currently the senator of Delaware. He constantly bashes the Iraq war at every possibility, and considering his leftist stance, he might put off a lot of wavering moderates... You're still more likely to see him up on the ballot than Hillary though.

If the Democrats were dumb enough to put Hillary Clinton on the ballot, they might as well bend over and kiss their ass goodbye. A move like that would force many wavering moderates to vote republican.

Well, until I see people disciplining this upcoming generation-I don't see any reason not to give up. But no, I've not given up either, I'm just waiting for the right time.

I'm autistic, and a great deal of what goes on in the world makes no sense to me at all. For example, the other day on the news (I'm Scottish, btw), the headline was that the First Minister won't be supporting England during the World Cup. They talked about it for a good five minutes, interviewing leading politicians from both Scotland and England. To many people, this is important. I have no idea why.

I think this is the reason why I spend so much time playing video games - they make sense. Out here in the real world, I have very little idea of what's going on. I've worked in Government and I know how politics operates. Decisions are generally made by people who have no concept of what they are actually doing. People in general become so blinkered by their own self-interests that they forget why they are acting in the first place.
The world makes perfect sense for me. While I may be 22yrs of age, the world has never made more sense than it is now.

As for Hillary, she'll run in '08, and assuming she wins the primaries (which are very likely), she'll also win the election. But not for the reasons many want to think, goes for any possible democrat candidate in the '08 presidential elections.

Re: Just amazing.. our world is so corrupt..Aids in Medicine..

I knew it. I knew it was out there. I knew that there was some vast conspiracy to get people sick. And here we have it. AIDs and HIV? It didn't just come into exsistence. It was created. AIDs and HIV are weapons of Germ Warefare. Even if they're not, they're good profit grabber for pharmasutical companies.

What better way to get someone to buy the cure than to get them sick? Seriously think about this. The thin lies created by the government, corporations, etc are begining to crumble. Thomas Jefferson once said, "The spirit of resistence to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive." I think it's time we exersice our rights. Boycott rallies, protests, a revolution maybe. Who knows?

              Viva la Che Guevara!
"Oh, you ca'n't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're Mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be", said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Re: Just amazing.. our world is so corrupt..Aids in Medicine..

Okay, too many quotes to keep track of, so I'll just say what I'm going to say.

The truth is, even when you have unprotected sex with a person with AIDS, you have about a 1 in 4 chance of contracting the disease. I believe that grows to 1 in 10 when you have sex with a woman with AIDS. Yes, the thing about the needles is true. The chance of contracting AIDS from a needle is very low (1 in 50 I think, not sure about this one). I believe the virus dies out within 3 minutes of contact with oxygen.

I don't believe that it's a conspiracy to infect everyone, then sell the antidotes. Because, if it was, they'd have found an antidote by now. Also, there are much more efficient killers than AIDS when you're talking about "population control". I believe the Ebola Virus will kill a person in as little as 5 days. There are still forms of the plague around as well (Boubonic plage was wiped out, the only strand I believe still exists is the Pneumonic Plague). Which I think would kill out people much quicker.

We cured Polio, but for some reason, we haven't even cured the common cold. Why is it that we can't make a cure for the common cold, yet we can make a vacciene for the flu? Think about how much you spend if you get a flu shot every year. That's serious bank right there. We probably could have wiped out Influenza a long time ago, but it still remains.

For those of you who don't think that scientists aren't curing diseases, think about this one for a second. I have a light bulb in my basement that can be turned on 24/7/365; it will last for 14 years straight. My parents got it before I was born. I'm 19 now, and it still hasn't burnt out. So, why aren't these things made commercially available? (We had to win ours at a company picnic.) I'll tell you why. If you seriously had a light bulb in EVERY socket that could last 14 years, there would be no market for light bulbs eventually. Everything would burn out. So in order to make money, you buy light bulbs that will burn out after about 2-3 weeks use. To keep the business going.

Not all Americans are stupid. Most are, all aren't. I could say that most French people are cowards, but that doesn't make it true. By the way, our President might represent us politically, but he was not the model we were all based on. Most of us can put together a sentence in about 2 seconds. We don't need to take long 20 second pauses to collect our thoughts. Also, Americans aren't as stupid as many reports go out saying we are. Yes, we rank low in standardized testing, but the thing about that is many countries have different standards. Like the state of Pennsylvania has lower scores on it's standardized tests than Mississippi....oh wait, anyone living in the US knows that Mississippi has one of the worst education systems in America, so why do they have higher scores? The standards on their tests are so low, that many of their students end up scoring high scores.
