Myspace is the big huge conformist thing in my school.

95% of the 6000 students have one. It's so damn annoying to hear them talk about it in real life. Whenever I hear a sentence start with "On my myspace..." I shudded.

All my friends are all "OMG get a myspace do it you will be cool lol"

But seriously, what does a blog offer besides phone conversations and bad grammar?

I think its cool when its doesn't get out of hand. And what signifies getting out of hand? I suppose trying to project a false image of yourself, like say... taking a picture of your butt. Or making up hobbies that you do outside when all you really do is sit around checking your myspace. Or adding random people you don't know just cuz they have a picture of their own butt. Maybe i'm not a butt guy.

And it really is a good way to hook up with old friends.

Now if you don't have friends, then i guess myspace wouldn't be very appealing at all. Its hard to make new friends over it when all you see is a page of only things they want you to know.

I know a lot of folks who are either professional or amateur writers, and they have some really interesting blogs that I like to follow. I keep one up myself on LJ that is relatively funny sometimes and not just "Dear Diary, today I went to the store, it was ok."

Which is why I'm not such a fan of MS, because it's all about silly comments, and garish colors, and annoying music.

Lol, you know Myspace has gained so much momentum though. I mean it's mentioned in a Movie, been in the news (Not for good reasons), and even a school now is even attempting to use it as a source for suspending students or taking actions against a student if they mention anything that could be perceived as a threat.
