... it would... um... beef up the fan videos section?

... it might... drive non FFXI players here to... ask why this site was linked on newgrounds?

or maybe it will undo reality? that would be pretty neat.

i can put a ad on once every 24 hours.. i used to for L2 and even had a few ppl who joined cause of it. so im hopeing itll be the same for here

As much as I like seeing the forums very active and a good comunity talking about all sorts of subjects, I wouldn't wish the community to turn out like alot of other communities with the usual spam, pointless kids arguing and telling each other they've had their mother etc. etc.

I am worried with the amount of refugees from one of these sites that we will be getting too much pointless comments and childish behavior. DOV has been an excellent forum (Still is) some great guides, discussions, community spirit etc. i know the admin and mods are monitoring it closely but they will be having their work cut out, we don't want to get to many of the wrong type of people, its difficult to explain. But I think the regs understand where I'm coming from. As mentioned in another thread we ahve had 600+ members in less than a week join and yes until they get used to how our forum works but for any new members who have come accross fro m another forum, please respect how we work we are a great community and we don't wish to have any pointless arguements petty childish behavior etc. We havn't had much of this here and I hope we can keep this up.

I think adverts for this forum should be left to the discertion of the moderating and administration team, let them decide how they want to push this forum.

I dunno, but I don't think you should do that. We do not want to get a reputation for spamming our site on other places. I appreciate that you want to help, but let people come out of their own volition not because you "force" it in their faces.
