i'm sure there's lots of bands out there that are like orz when they see people associating them with these kids....

When people can't pay attention? I think that's tragic, it's an actual "disease" and not something brought on by the need to fit into a social niche. . . Just like how Emos and Goths are contradictory since there are legions of people just like themselves >.>

What about OCD? OCD is a terrible thing to happen to people. My roomate's girl has it, and she makes sure our door is locked at least 10 times a night.

Lol, I was kidding on it. I have my own beliefs with psych's and their crazy diagnosis and the people that have those diagnosises. Probably wouldn't be appropriate for me to state her because very few here that have a mind open enough to any of the ideas.

Anyway just enjoying the wild anlysis of people that are Emo and Goth. Mostly because I have friends that are both Emo and Goths. Got to say lot of these 'theories' I'm seeing are just hilarious!!

Hilarious in that they're off the mark? Or what? I have friends who "display emo tendancies," and all they need is a good smack in the face. If they weren't my favorite group, I'd do them a favor and break all their LP albums in half so that they don't need to get angsty to "Numb" and "From The Inside."

I only have one "goth" friend, but he's so hardcore that I can't even call him that anymore. Goth, to me, are the kids that don't want to "conform" but they, for some reason, are in a group of people with like mindsets. . . So essentially, they ARE conforming. by conforming to the non-conformity of their "group."

Then you also have the "punks" and the "preps" and it get's so confusing. Then you have people willing to kill each other over Rock vs. Rap, when neither side has honestly listened to the other and given the music a fair chance.

But, alas, this is America. And if people got along, it wouldn't be a Democacy

Wow, wth? Birds die all the time, their life spans are less then a decade. Domesticated birds can live up to 20 years, but they have plush homes and daily food and don't have to live in the elements ._. Anyway, wow. Congrats on the find. Teen angst is always funny.

My uncle has a bird thats been alive for 30 years, 1 of those colorful 1s cant think of its name lol

The whole point you just proved. It's hillarious that I can choose to not speak to anyone, not give them acknowledgement (Even though I did hear them), and be considered ADHD. Yet do it again and this time choose to actually speak, because there is a subject worth speaking about, and acknowledge them and be considered normal. Psych studies seems to loose it's focus and basis once freewill becomes a factor.

Yes I do find the "goth" thing funny, and point that out to my goth friends. They always rebuttle it though by the statment "Well I'm hanging out with someone as strange as you aren't I, that's got to be most non-conformist thing there is"... ouch

I find the prep, emo, punk, rocker, and rapper classifying funny and how people become extreemists to a specific classifying. I can't help but laugh till I'm in tears when they get pissed of someone making a stereotypical remark when the extreemist is doing exactly as the stereotype states.

All of this stuff I just funny to me... It's a rediculous riot that I laughed once so hard with it all that I nearly suffocated myself.

whatever happened to goths, they like poofed and emos took their place, i mean goths only piss and moaned when you did something to them, like kicked them or stole thier lunch, or burned thier house down, crap i say that out loud, IMO the only reason emo kids act that way is cuz they want attention, and 1 way is by cutting your self, not the best way but 1 way

Agreed. I really am very opinionated in this area since I've worked in it for years. Unless you have a degree in it and years of experience under your belt, don't bother.
