For all those Final Fantasy fanatics out there , just in case you don't know, Advent Children comes out in the U.S.A. on April 25, 2006. I just wnted to know, for the Japenese version, how do you set the subtitles?

24th of April (Monday) it comes out in the UK I have mine on order with amazon along with TOA.

got it 2 weeks ago totaly fantastic movie and the extras were gd too (specialy since i can understand some of the japaness language )

listened to it again, and yeah, the dub was painful.


Anyone get the "Bonus Disc" with the english voice actors on it?


My god, "I'm the first person to voice Cloud in english.." I wanted to smack him. Don't act like you're so knowledgable about the games, then forget about Kingdom Hearts. Idiot.


It was nice to see in english, but the voice actors for Cid and Cait Sith were too over the top. Aeris was much lighter in the JP version, which is more of what the character should've been.


Aside from the lip-syncing being painful, the voices just weren't that great. The girl who did Tifa I think did a decent job, other than that, give me subs any day of the week.



Oh, I wish they had gone to the trouble Spirited Away did..

This movie was ok, I'll buy it when I get home, but I wasn't impressed. Looks like they rehashed the meathod used for FF:SA and then dumbed it down a bit so it looked more like the game instead of more realistic.

I hope the next FF movie is more classic FF and less of the newer technological FF.

My comments:

He did the voice for Cloud in Kingdom Hearts II.

Cait Sith voice was awesome, "SHUT YER MOOTH".

I thought the lipsyncing was fine.

Rachel Leigh Cook is soooo hot. (Tifas VA.)

Reno's VA, Quiton Flynn is by far my favorite English VA.

I was deeply dissapointed with the english voice acting and them not even bothering to match the lip sync.

Other than that, it's a fun watch, I guess.
