Re: Violence in Video Games
I'm not sure how my presentation went, because my PowerPoint died on me. I made a novice mistake:
We have "media carts" that are connected to projectors, and i plugged the projector into my laptop. I foolishly set Dual Screen access, and dragged PPT into the projection. But when I started the slide-show, it came up on my laptop -.-
I forgot to close my screen, making the external monitor the main. A novice mistake. I lost a bit of points due to the lacking in my visual aid ;;
But this wasn't like my explanatory speech, so visual aid wasn't that heavy of a weight.
Content-wise, I actually might have had too* much. But I did properly cite sources and I had verbal references in the speech. I also knew the bulk of my speech because I hand-typed the information, even if it was word for word verbatum from a source.
I think it went "ok" and thankfully, it was merely our first speech of this type.
Anyone who posted before 4am, when I went to sleep, thank you.
And I agree with your critique, Nazl. Due to my writing, I use commas a LOT. But for a speech, it might have been more beneficial to break it up sentences. I'll keep that in mind for future projects, thank you.
