    FFXII potion bottles.....Huh?

    Set of 6
    What is this? Is this common knowledge I'm just totally missing out on?

    Upon further inspection it seems to be something of a marketing gimmick. If a mod could please move this to Off Topics, that'd just be super.

    Square-Enix sponsored energy drinks, made specifically to celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy XII.

    I just got mine yesterday, actually. I'm not gonna drink it, since it's meant to be a part of my collection, but I'll make my friend buy one for me when he goes to Japan this summer, if they're still on the market.

          The potions are no longer in production so if you want one you better get it now. There are 2 versions. The regular version is just the potion and the premium comes with a collectible clear card. They've been producing the clear card sets for various FF's for quite some time. They raise tremendously in value but are also expensive to get. I have the full set that comes with the potion bottles as well as a set of the bottles. The potion itself is said to be an "aquired taste" but I wouldn't know. I can not drink it because of the ingredients. My friend in Japan says it is horrible. LOL

            It tastes HORRIBLE, but well designed :p
            Imagine getting ran over by a car and you see a guy come up to you and give you a potion drink. Then dying because of its horrible taste.

                those 6 are special edition potions as I heard. limited edition.
                the regular bottles I think they'll continue.

                  Since the expiration date is Jan/2007, you should drink it sometime after you come home exhausted from battling, because maybe it starts smelling or rotting against the glass after Jan/2007! >< Could always fill it with water.

                    lol my friend got these and gave me 1 they do taste like crap lol tho i wish i lived in japan they get cool stuff well we get spears on bear skin rug poping out a baby

                      Yes I have been trying to get my son to drink it because I am so curious to know what it tastes like. He loves Gatorade and such, so I tried to tell him it was something similar but it was a no go. ; ; Next!! my husband!
