I only skimmed the article, but one thing I find that never seems to change is that people are upset not because it's extremely creepy and disturbing, but because it's a monument to pro choice. I don't support either side, but I've always found it hilarious how people will rally behind some cause and go out of their way to feel upset for lack of something better to do.

Ah, I think this guy just likes starting controversy. You might have picked up that he also did a sculpture of Ted Williams decapitated head. Not something that the general public does with their spare time. He probably cares about his message and is putting it out there in a truely disturbing way.
