    On a serious note, which of his works are good? People told be Beyond Good & Evil is an okay read. Any comments on Anti-Christ or The Will to Power?

    I hope I'm not the only one that still reads from paper ... I wonder if kids nowadays just get books in illegally scanned PDFs via filesharing ... o.o;

    ...books...?
    What...?
    That's like a lesser form of Harry Potter, right?

      the way he dislike christianity really make sense if you think about his theory about ubermen. I actually like his idea a lot, how individuals should strive to become better and not just follow and become part of the herd. It is exactly what TV commercials are trying to do: make you a on of the sheep that walk blindly...

      "if you have to choose between a sheep and a fox, be a fox" << some attitude I'm seeing a lot in japanese anime/comic. Usually the cooler, smarter and isolated characters. It's very, very Nietzche.
      There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot,
      but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence
      transform a yellow spot into the sun.

        Your avatar disproves otherwise... you like to follow the penguins into the pool...

              Choose the dragon... for even the Fox is but a mere follower. We beasts have no master, for we will kill even the hands that dare feed us.

                  Thanks for the feedback, although it's not really what I was hoping for. But then again, most of you graduates probably don't want to deal with philosophy ever again after obtaining your baccalaureus degree.

                  Kinda Off topic, this one:

                  That's pretty deep Jei. It's like the story in SO3, where people end up finding out that they're all just characters, albeit real in flesh and blood, in some large online game.

                  I recently read The Universe in a Nutshell and was intrigued about the part where it says that in order for humans to be able to withstand future space travel and be able to increase intelligence, we'd need to perform genetic engineering on ourselves, or in other terms, force evolution to speed things up, by DNA altering and other such things.

                  So, in SO3, it was the study of symbological science that got them in trouble with the "Creator." Once we start performing genetic engineering on ourselves, you think our "Creator" is gonna have a hissyfit and wipe us out of existence? Shhh, He won't know if you don't tell. >.>
