Not all JP players are like that and there are a lot of JP players in FFXI (I think 50% or more are JP, about 40% are NA and about 10% are EU)

Many JP players I know use LOL now when conversing even amongst themselves. Like how NA players use "W" ... I see cultural exchanges have made it both ways and is not just a one-way street.

Sure, there are the outspoken players on both sides, but those are in the minority ... for the most part, JP players are mellow and even they know that among NA players, there are good ones and really shitty ones ...

Interesting, a theoretically Japanese person makes a comic that basically says America sucks, everyone thinks its funny. I'm curious as to how many of the same people would shit bricks if someone posted a comic saying how much Japan sucked. Personally, I dont care if thats what the original artist thinks. People are free to think what they want, even if its racist. I personally think racism is wrong, but you still have the right to feel that way.
