Whoah, I meant people are hating because we're using so much oil. Plastic being one of the results of that. People don't seem to realize how much America is using.

I understand where you're coming from, there's just two problems with reducing oil usage as a vehicle fuel (which people seem to gripe about more than any others) America is really too big to have a good mass transit system w/o spending trillions of dollars, and Americans enjoy their independence to seemingly give it up to ride a bus or train everywhere.
Funny that they all hate us, yet try to copy the fashions and watch American tv so much. People overseas also think Americans are just like tv. Met people in Europe that thought we were all like the show Friends. Hardly work, yet have lots of money, sit around in coffee shops, and everyone is highly promiscuous.

Yes, been a lot of pressure for it as of late. Problem is any real solution is still pretty heavy on science fiction (energy cells, etc.) Pure electric is just a joke (not much more mpg, with a huge loss in horsepower). The horsepower and torque loss wouldn't be huge for people who live 99% of their lives in a city, but transport companies, farmers, ranchers, and people who don't in highly accessible places would be really hurt by this.

Lol, bikke, well not EVERYONE, I know I actually have to work 40 hours a week for my money and can't afford a huge apartment in NewYork.

Caspian I think racist jokes or anything that is slander to someone can be funny, Im not racist and I never will be but I cant deny I think the jokes are funny even when its agaisnt my country or my race if its funny its funny, you cant change that. If that person actually feels that way and isnt just joking then thats too bad for them but its not really going to effect me in anyway. But like you said you wernt talking about the above posters, just had to clarify

Gaijin Power - I was in the local bar with two male friends, American and Japanese. This bar is kind of known for being a pick-up bar, especially for Japanese women and foreign men. Anyway, our Japanese friend spotted a cute girl. We told him to go talk to her, but he refused, saying it was pointless cause he'd only fail. We tried to tell him he wouldn't know until he actually tried, but no go. "You guys don't understand," he says. "You have Gaijin Power so you have no problems getting girls."

...Gaijin Power? The hell is that? This wasn't the first time I'd heard this from Japanese men though. So my friend and I decided to find out more about this "Gaijin Power". We both set out and, working as a Dynamic Duo (Holy Japanese sluts, Batman!), we found pairs of Japanese girls and tried to talk to them. We were pretty unsuccessful though, which leads me to believe our Japanese friend was full of shit. Or maybe we just suck.
I've had that site Faved for a while. Pure satiricle comedy.

Totally agree, my only real problem, is how racism against certain people is considered the unforgivable sin, but racism against another people is totally cool and widely accepted. I'm a redneck, I'm cool with that. I even have a few borderline white trash tendencies and those redneck jokes are hilarious.
The people that honestly believe all the stereotypes about people and are truly racist, well I feel sorry for them, but I really dont take offense when they say something racist. Afterall, its only a showing of their ignorance, obviously they don't know whats going on and I take what they say with a grain of salt.

Re: Is this really how Japanese players see us Americans?

Dave Chapelle tells racist jokes, and he's one of the funniest people on the planet.
I think making fun of somebody becuase of the color of their skin is wrong.
Making fun of the differences between our culture, and somebody elses culture, can actually be quite tasteful, if given in the correct doses. Example...(my HNMLS leader hates this one XD) We make fun of Canadian people for saying Ab00t. I find that hilarious, because when on teamspeak with my HNMLS leader, he says ab00t. Now, the thing about Canadian people, is that they think that everyone in America are Red Necks. We all beat our wives, screw sheep, chew tobacco, and drive trucks. Now this is all in good fun. I end up telling him that not all American people are like that.....just most of us. >.>

Now, here's a fact that I find funny. The average difference between any two random people's DNA is .02 percet. In everyhuman, the average structure of our DNA lies 99.98% in common with any random person in the world. The funny thing about racist people, is that the same difference in DNA they share with their families, they share with the minorities they hate. IMO, there's no need to be racist.

Hey, feel bad for us Canadians and EU players that - because we converse in English - get lumped in with all that unfounded anti-Americanism.
