a friend of mine is trying to get me to start playing WoW... haha... yea right...

he even gave me the free month voucher... and i even tell him that im not planning on leaving ffxi...

oh well... ill just have to put up with his non sense

You could always try to play it for a month or so.. but not yet, seeing that youre "only" level 20 yet (idk about other jobs and no offense) but if youre starting to get to 50 or so.. and maybe a little bored.. A month trying out wouldnt be bad. ^^

Bleh this is just my opinion :/ Im still not bored of FFXI.. and i spend all my time on it. I wouldnt mind trying if it would be free.

I was also given a free trial code. However my friend lives a good distance from me and for me to use it would require me to buy the game. Not a bad offer by Blizzard if you have discs you can borrow.

It's pretty easy to convert WoW players, but some stick to their ways purely out of spite. Try to keep an open mind while talking with your friend and encourage him to do the same. Compare your favorite screenshots, talk about your favorite memories, and compare the toughest bosses you've ever fought and the toughtest monsters in each game(including screenshots). Make sure to include captivating enviroments and characters. Yea, I'm talking about WoW players as if they're simple minded kids, but tactics are generally the same between the two. The smart ones will see the light, and those that dont are better off playing WoW.

well now he just keeps sending me emails telling me how great the game is... i already told him im not forking out 40bux for the game just so i can play it for a month...

a while back i tried for 2 weeks to get him to come over to ffxi... but he just wouldnt take... i guess the reason he went to WoW is to "prawn noobs" in PvP battles... those were his exact words...
