I made up my own character name for ffxi >>> Sakasame
and yet people dont believe me, they say its writtin somewhere
can someone tell me where, or gimme a link

oh and, if your bored like me, post some cool character names that you made up yourself

Skygto = Skyline + Mitsubishi GTO.

My character name was Skygto but I quit the game for about 4 months. When I came back I had to make a new character, and once again I named him Skygto, but shortly after that I quit again. Then I came back a month later with the Return to Vanadiel campaign but had to rename myself so I just dropped the O. I've grown found of Skygt though ^^ It's becoming my official name that I use for everything.

my name and my beta chars names are what i made up for D&D, Saroku my elvaan and Keyura my drow. my friends who i play D&D with have chars based off their D&D too, my friend has Cyrkelian his half-elf bard in D&D (bard in FFXI too) and his other is Elithrar, half-elf thief in FFXI and D&D. Another freind plays atheena the elvaan monk in D&D and FFXI too (though its not near the same). i don't play the same jobs as my D&D characters though ><; keyura is a D&D demon and saroku is a weapon master. btw, our dm makes up some crazy ass jobs and stuff, if ur like "wtf!?" but its like playing KRO on a private server, same game with a cooler creative flare ^^

I always use the same name when I play a game online: Jugend. It means "youth" in German. I've met a few people who actually knew what it meant. I actually almost always get a /tell from someone asking me if I'm German.

Sakasam(A) derived from the japanese word meaning inversion, upside down, or reverse.

I have a few names. Thiedon (pronounced Thigh-done ~ and in no way shape or form related to ANY character in Lord Of The Rings like people keep bugging me about). . . and Zortalas. Both names are original.

wow thats ineresting, Ive even been told there is a word in French, Sakamerde, that means leader or boss, or president or something to that effect

lol, and im dead serious, that name came right off the top of my head, never studied japanese before or anything
