Jwalton, you're forgetting, that this was a Press Conference, Microsoft and Nintendo did what they were supposed to do, deliver new ideas, interesting stuff, and stick to numbres.

Sony treated this as a stupid PR campaign, we saw only 1 thing new and that was that Ecocrome game, I'm sorry, but I'm not impresssed

That press conference was a waste of 15 min, no wait, 30 because they were 15 min late. Same trailer we saw at Sony's for MGS4, and nothing new, nothing we havn't seen before, well, the new trailer for SH5, but other then that... uck, konami, I expected more from you.

Am I the only person that sees MGS and thinks the realistic look is completely out-out-of-place? Most of the actors are know for their work in anime and Metal gear had an anime/Versus kind of style to it for a while now.

I just can't help but see it as a comic book hero story, though. Liquid Snake's consciousness surivives via nanomachines in his arm. An arm grafted on to Ocelot the replace the arm he lost to Grey Fox. Raiden goes from whiner to badass. Snake is aging rapidly. And all the mechs are given animalistic characteristics.

The realism almost plays against the story rather than with it. It looks cool, yet, it just feels off.

They've shipped over 5.5 million units so far, so 11 million doesn't seem unlikely by the end of the year. According to Sony, PS3 production just hit full capacity at the end of last month.

I dunno what happened to the images in my previous post, but I'll get them back up asap.
