Well st anger's out but I heard it also comes with a DVD of the band performing. Is the DVD any good? Cuz if it's not, I won't bother buying the CD.

I didnt think that St. Anger came out till the 10th. Oh well. I saw the video on the MTV2 the other day and it blows so much. Metallica sold out on that song. Hopefully the whole album is not like that. If it is i will be very mad. I love Master of Puppets and i even like load and reload, but S&M had to be their greatest moment. Anyways when i pick up the album i may be very dissapointed, but we'll see. Oh, and i the only thing i know about the dvd is that they recorded it in the studio and they play out the entire album, could be a good or bad thing.

Anyway, every song on St. Anger sucks. They're all badly mixed, James' voice sounds worn, and Lars sounds like he's using trashcans for drums. Also, whoever decided that the album doesn't need solos is a moron. No solos = no win.

My friend just got it last night. He says the DVD is really bad quality and none of the songs are really that good at all. So I doubt I'll be getting St. Anger.
Well, anyways... Does anyone else think James resembles a gopher in the music video?

Metallica has been letting me down the past few albums. Like Ted said, I've heard many of the songs suck, and they're still a little too Nu-metalish... They need to get back to the old days when they were still making good music.
Edit: I'm listening to My World right now, and all I have to say is this is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

I have checked it out earlier today. I've hated their new stuff since Load and I doubted it would change at all in St. Anger.
Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets, ...And Justice For All, and The Black Album were great but their new stuff just blows.

I was really disapointed when I heard St. Anger, The good thing about it was watching the bass player walk around like a gorilla and hold the neck like a retard, I thought that was pretty funny.
No solos+lame lyrics+Gorilla walking=shitty ass music

Good music or not I will NEVER buy another Metallica cd/dvd/t-shirt/poster or anything with their name on it after what they did to Napster. Greedy fuckers!!! Anyone see the MTV video awards when the creator of Napster came out on stage with a Metallica t-shirt on? The look on Lars' face was great.

*approaches computer with horrible scowl on face and gun in hand. a tv set can be seen smoking in the background*
I just saw the video for "St. Anger". All I have to say about that is... *turns and fires a few more rounds into the next room* ...they should've been lynched in that prison.
