y is everyone hatin neway? it's not like tom cruise is a bad actor or anything. and for those of u who wish they got a japanese person to play the lead role, have u ever thought that would actually go against the plot? i mean, from the looks of things it looks like tom is playing a gai jin that somehow gets sucked up in some war because he's been accepted into japanese society. i don't remember much, but wasn't there a scene where he was with some asian woman? u know, he was a sea trader that fell in love with a woman and now he ends up fighting a war in order to protect her. i mean, C'MON...it just makes more sense.
