A few weeks ago... OMGWTFBBQ, Malacite, Icemage and myself had decided to start up a podcast.
Our main focus of discussion will be on videogames past-present as well as upcoming titles. We'll delve into reviews, thoughts, opinions and peeves. So far (despite having been planning it for a few weeks now) we don't really have a focused discussion format.
Because 75% of us no longer play FFXI, and because LBR already corners the market on the subject, we won't be discussing FFXI very much at all. I'll probably handle most of the news and updates on that sunbject myself from time to time.
We're also taking suggestions from the forum for discussion ideas. If you can think of anything that you would like to hear the 4 of us talk about in depth, let us know! Keep in mind the people in this group. Think long and hard about how often they butt heads... and think of topics that will spark debate amongst us. I'm personally lookling forward to the aggressive and hostile arguments what will inevitably result from some of our episodes.
Along with the RSS feed posted here tomorrow night, I'll also be posting our feed on various other sites, distribution and social media related in order to generate traffic. Ultimately, I'd be thrilled to see that we got even 100 hits to start.
