A Dance of Dragons

Who's stoked it's finally coming out? Found out on my Amazon pre-order that I'm expecting it as early as the 14th. These are the only books I've re-read multiple times that weren't authored by J. R. R. Tolkien.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about pick up George R. R. Martin's first book in the series A Game of Thrones at your local used book store. Yes, it was recently made into a HBO series and though it was pretty decent, the series really didn't hold a candle to the book (like usual, I know... but really the book is way WAY better).

So, anyone excited?

I totally agree. Really was pissing me off seeing the blog on his website go something like this:

A) 1 sentence of how he still has writer's block.
B) 2 paragraphs plugging other endeavors only known because they were riding Ice and Fire's coat-tails.
C) 3 paragraphs describing some back-water comic convention he attended.
D) 4 pages worth of whining about his favorite football team.

I was really getting super tired of the "oh I have writer's block... purchase these other books I've written recently" bullshit.

But now that it's coming out, I'm still pretty excited. Not J9 excited... but still.. can't wait to read the continuation of the series.
