The 1927 Silent German Scifi film with 25 minutes of recently discovered footage is coming to DVD and BD later this year. Excited to see it. This film inspired just about all of the great sci fi movies.

Yes, I have been waiting and waiting for this! I told my husband that it was ok if my birthday present was a few days late this year IF I was getting this. lol

Do. Want. Though actually you probably shouldn't set your expectations too high for the Blu-ray version. As I understand it, the recently discovered film elements weren't in all that great of a condition to begin with, so even though there's now a complete "Director's Cut" version, the restored bits that were "lost" are much softer than the original film stock.

Doesn't matter to me. I love old movies and its just absolute BONUS if its sci fi. I love making my son sit and watch old sci fi with me, sometimes his reactions are priceless! Like the movie Rabid, this woman gets a skin graft on her arm and grows a (I don't know what to call it...) horn looking thing that comes out and sucks the blood out of people. lolololololol Total 70's sci fi/horror flick that scared the living shit out of me when I was a teen! My son was 15 when I made him watch it "Mom......I wish someone would grow one of those horn things and suck my brains out so I don't have to remember that HORRIBLE HORRIBLE movie!!!"
