    I guess I had missed this preview in the midst of the movies I chose to see these last few months, but I was happy to finally see it in motion. It looks like their efforts have really paid off here, though. A lot of CG movies have lacked the grace and sometimes elastic nature of 2D animation, but this is managing to capture those sensibilities and looks like it could fit right alongside the 2D classic.

    Maybe this means Disney will stop doing shitty live-action remakes of the 2D stuff now.

    Well, one can hope, anyway.

      yeah, 3D again. I think the love affair with 3D has more to do theaters being able to up the price of tickets than people actually caring about it, just like its an excuse to put 3DTVs out there when the mainstream was finally investing in HDTV.

      Even so I did rather like How to Train Your Dragon in 3D, so I might enjoy Tangled that way as well.

        Did any of you guys actually end up going and seeing it? I thought it was actually pretty good for a modern Disney movie

          I agree it was a pretty solid movie.

          My favorite character was definitely the chameleon.
