    Deadliest Warrior Season 2

    Well 1st off, I"m ROYALLY pissed @ myself for forgetting it was on tonight so I missed the epic "Back for Blood" match ups and the 1st episode of Season 2.... but here's the official line up, and a couple of them really have me anxious to see. (Even though I found several outcomes in the 1st season dubious/outright stupid)

      I watched last night, and it was a good episode. But WTF? one of the weapons they were comparing was the SWAT teams stand alone multi shot taser, which sits on the ground like a large opened suitcase and shoots like 50 tasers at once. They were comparing this to the german GS9's grenade that shoots out small rubber balls that are suppsoe to stun a target. are you fucking kidding me? is that really even worth a comparison? a 6 foot standalone apparatus that with a push of a button, shoots out 50 tasers at once in all directions incapaciting anyone it hits; and a fucking grenade that projects small rubber balls? GTFO now.

        The PSD vs the HG was pretty stupid too. 6.8 MM vs 5.56s? Yeah, no freaking contest. When both sides have body armor, you want the stopping power.


        I was really surprised by Alexander vs Atilla though. I really thought Alex was going to win that, and I'm still thinking those results were BS. But that Gastastrephes or w/e was the stupidest weapon I have ever seen. Did he really use that in his armies? WTF. I have a hard time believe such a master tactitian would have honestly used something so cumbersome.

        Plus like the rest of his army, he likely would have used the traditional phalanx approach. Spear & Shield = gtfo.

          Love the show. I hate the computer dude though.

                Can you really consider two outlaws warriors?

                Maybe on a show called The Most Deadliest Gangs, but not the deadliest warrior lol.

                    Yeah, even tho Al Capone gang had superior weapons, the JJ gang had their weapons drawn and firing accurately before Al Capones gang even know what was going on.

                    The thing that bothered me is they kept showing Al Capone use baseball bats, but instead of the bat they used brass knuckles...that doesnt make any sense. I think they didnt want them to be to similar to last seasons "The mob"

                      Regardless who won cause of what, they were not warriors.

                      Being a street savvy gang dealer doesn't classify you as a warrior. I think the JJ vs AC was total waste of time.

                        If you using merriam-webster definition of "Warrior" then they are. The fact they fought over territory with other gangs makes them a warrior by definition.

                          They were criminals.. JJ gang were bank robbers. No territory was fought over..
                          Al Capone didn't need to fight for territory cause he was the most dominate gangster in Chicago.

                            That's kind of a broad definition though.


                            Case in point, it's why I hated the very notion of Ninja vs Spartan - Ninjas, if they did exist, were mere peasants & farmers who modified whatever they could get their hands on and relied largely on gorilla tactics; More often than not a straight up fight with a trained, disciplined Samurai meant certain death.


                            The professional soldier (in this case one who's been trained to fight since he was 6 or 8) will almost always win over an Assassin because Soldiers' are trained to fight; Assassin's are trained to kill.



                            Back to the gangs thing, again, both of them were just street toughs but JJ (allegedly, anyway) and his group were ex-Confederate soldiers, which means they at least had some formal training. And as they proved in the show (for once) skill and accuracy can and should trump raw firepower in all but the most extreme cases (high explosives >.>)
