      I'm still boycotting it, despite my love of Jackie Chan.

      It's basically remaking a classic film with an "urban twist" if you will... yah, not interested in the least, even if Chan is playing a serious role for once. I'm putting this right up there with Michael Bay's transformers on the "quit pissing on my childhood memories" list.

                          I won't say I'm boycotting it, it's more accurate to say that I thought the series should have stayed at rest with Noriuki Morita, and have no interest in watching this. The misnomer certainly doesn't help matters, either.

                          At any rate, it's nothing I'll pay to see.

                            See, that's the thing. Unlike The Dark Knight, Transformers was not a good movie. Actually, I'd say it's barely watchable.

                              If they hadn't played up the humans so much it would have been better, but it was still entertaining even if it wasn't exactly a cinematic masterpiece. It's like Godzilla movies, they're horribly bad films but can be a lot of fun to watch.

                                I get so tired of people who say I am only disappointed because I expected Citizen Kane out of giant robots beating the crap out of each other. I wasn't expecting a cinematic masterpiece. I just wanted something that was as entertaining as The Matrix, Batman Begins, Spider Man 2, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men, Iron Man, James Bond movies, Avatar, all very good franchise movies. Transformers stole almost 3 hours of my life that I can never get back. It's the very reason I didn't go see Revenge of the Fallen, because I wasn't about to give it another 3.

                                PS: I've never actually seen Citizen Kane, nor am I interested in doing so. But the usual reply to any criticism of Transformers is stuff like "What were you expecting? Citizen Kane?"
