Has anyone been watching this tv series? I am absolutely enthralled by it! The first season was decent. There was a lot of character introduction and set-up so at times it was a bit underwhelming or slow but the 2nd season has been SPOT ON and gripping! If you like wizardry, dragons, knights, and maidens, then you might want to d/l all the episodes and watch them because you won't be disappointed!

I love it, I've been watching it since the begining. It makes my saturdays for sure. Well until Dr Who returns lol.

I saw the guy who plays Merlin on Tv the other day on The Paul O'Grady show and He speaks in a full-on Irish accent not like he does on screen. I sat there puzzled for a while.

I'm glad there's another Merlin fan out there I thought it was just one of my guilty pleasures.

Is this the one where Merlin is younger than Arthur, and Arthur and Uther are living together?

If so, then yeah, that kind of turned me off of the whole series. Though, I seriously would have considered watching it if Merlin was older, Uther a bit younger, and Arthur not even in the picture yet. I mean, I know it's just a show and I shouldn't be worrying about the details so much, but it really does just bug me.

Ya I'm not one of those people thats so put off by it not being "correct". I watch tv for entertainment and it is very entertaining! I like how Merlin and Arthur are around the same age and Merlin is his servant so they develop a friendship. The character development and interaction is the heart and soul of the series. You end up genuinely liking them and being involved in their lives. It really catapults the series from just another fantasy show into something special.

I d/l the series. I get it at newtorrents.info . I heard that its out on BBC America but I rarely watch actual tv so I don't know for sure.

Not sure if you're up to this point yet but Morgana's plotline seems to be really taking off. As far as I'm concerned the more screentime Katie McGrath gets the better.

YES! I am up to date on the show! The last 2 shows have been jaw dropping good!

I do have a gripe though! I would love to watch all of the behind the scenes shorts that are on the website but you can only see them if you live in the UK! I do get to see one occasionally if someone puts them up on a torrent site but I've not been able to see them all and it kind of bugs me! lol

Is this the one where we also get to see him discovering his wizardy powers as his friend is drowning in quicksand and he's very cheesily saying "If only this stick would grow! Grow! GROWWW!"?

Can't say that I remember that in this series but then again I can't remember what I ate yesterday either. lol The series really has developed and is a very good show. I personally like to give shows a chance by watching several episodes before I give up. I'm glad I did because this one was worth it.
