This ranks right up there with Tekken in my "Must not see" category. Hell, taking story mode out of Tekken 6 for the PSP version is practically a selling point in itself.

I'll save my money for another movie.

The last video game movie I saw was Max Payne. I don't know if I'd say it was the best game movie I've seen, but it was one of the least bad ones. I'm still settling on Advent Children as best game movie, but that's only because SE did it. Nomura's convoluted story concepts work better when they're originally his (Kingdom Hearts, TWEWY).

Well, it can't be any worse than Dragonball Evolution... Watched the first 30 mins and then stopped to wash my eyes out with bleach. I never finished it. I'm wondering about Tekken myself, but it might be as big of a failure as that Chun-Li movie. We'll have a real problem when a Live Action Pokemon movie comes out.

They redesigned the characters, outfits, and moves so much I can't recognize a single character from the trailer, except maybe Geese (who they will probably have to rename for an English-speaking movie audience). Or maybe they're just all from games later in the series that I haven't played?

ISTM that the storyline should focus either on the Bogards, the Sakazakis, or Kyo/Iori - but I didn't see any of those characters, or didn't recognize them if they were there, which either way is a pretty big fail.
