If you were young enough to miss Fantasy Island, I might see what you're saying, but he's most well known from his roles in Star Trek and Fantasy Island, hands down.

And even if you missed him from Fantasy Island, you'd still know the Star Trek reference since Star Trek continues to be an influenced show.

And someone would eventually scream "KHAAAAAAAN" on the internet anyway, complete with a picture of William Shatner. Forums are weird like that.

STIV isn't part of TOS. TOS is The Original Series and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home is a movie, two entirely different beasts. I believe you meant to say:

I know what I said. I was using "TOS" as a blanket term for "TOS, the Non-TNG based movies, and generally all TOS-era media". I wasn't expecting the person who referred to one role of an actor with dozens of performances as "his other role" to be lecturing on me on semantics, however.

I thought The Wrath of Khan was one of the better movies ... and really, I think most people did, or that whole odd-even thing about the movies would never have been thought up. Still, given a choice of one movie, I'd agree on IV.
