I stand corrected , but im sure that much of his history is going to be fubar'd in the movie anyways :/
To your credit, you ran your own comic book shop. Having your own business excuses you from knowing all the sordid details of one character's life.

From 7 to 17 I had nothing but time to track and postulate and piece together the pieces of Wolverine's history, which was easy, given as big a fan as a was/am.

And yeah, I'm not expecting Wolverine's history, or his relationship to other characters, to be accurate. No one should expect that, lest you set yourself up for disappointment.

I wouldn't say "fubar'd" but it definately won't be 100% like the comics. Still, it already seems like a fairly accurate portrayal of what happened to Wolvie to make him who he is. Some of the names and details may be altered along the way to create a better film, but the general underlying themes and story could easily be dead on, and with comic movies that should be the only thing that matters. As long as it gets the basic jist of it right and is an entertaining movie, i'll be very satisfyed with it.

Technically, I heard about this before I even heard there was a Wolverine movie. My friend's sentence structure 2 months ago:

"Deadpool's gonna be in that new movie. The one about Wolverine."

          "What?"

Ya, we're pretty excited. He better be as good of a character as he's supposed to be. (Will he break the 4th wall?)
"And if he left off dreaming about you, where do you suppose you'd be?"
