for the same reason SE decided to make a movie about FF because it is a huge market. How many of you have bought or rented Final Fantasy Spirts within/ or Advent Children.

Now how many of you will buy or rent MGS, its a huge market and dollars are nice. That is the point.

On the point of making it into a movie, I think it would be quite nice to see a movie of MGS3, or even MGS1. Complaining about it won't really accomplish anything, because face it, even if you've played the games and seen all of the CS's and such, you're STILL going to watch the movie.

On another note, I'd pay double to see Snake being played as David Hayter.

I have to question if such a movie would even be good if Kojima himself didn't oversee the project. But personally, at this point, I'd just like to see the guy get back to making other games not called MGS.

Seriously, that solar gun put in MGS4 isn't just a joke, its a plea for freedom!

I was talking about that with Pai Pai, too. My opinion was like "I wish Kojima would stop making franchises and just do one game at a time, like Team ICO. Really flex his creative muscles.". And Pai Pai was like "I love MGS."

I still say a Metal Gear Wii would be awesome.

Kojima is rather friendly with Nintendo, anyway, and it would kick ass to see what he could do on it.

I really enjoy Hayter's voice acting too . . . . probably too much to see Snake voiced any other way. In fact, I'd rather have Kurt lip sync with Hayter's voice for a MGS movie. I don't see why actor's can't incorporate lip sync as a skill when someone else obviously has a better voice, but that's just me.

It would be much better to have him try to act in Hayter's voice, and then dub over it. Would be harder to have him lipsync preexisting audio methinks.

Which game in the series are we basing this movie on? 'Cause if it's the last one, my vote's for Steven Segal. No one does old, tired, and washed up martial artist quite like Steven Segal. Ok, Jean Claude Van Damme does, too, but he doesn't look the part.
