Re: What would make you switch to Bluray?
To be quite honest, I don't have any real need to see movies in super high definition. Being on the cutting edge of technology is too expensive, and too fleeting for me to bother. It's exhausting trying to keep up.
When the format becomes standard, and prices reach levels that I'm more comfortable with, then I'll adopt. But I see little reason to suddenly cast aside all of the films and television shows I've been enjoying for years simply because I can see them a little bit crisper and clearer with this new format.
But everyone's priorities are different.
