Fyi, Firefly is coming to BD later this year, date TBA. I'm looking forward to it.


Also if anyone hadn't heard. If you bought an HD-DVD player you can check with Amazon or Best Buy, you'll likely qualify for $50 off the price of a new BD player.
And Panasonic's new BD-50 is due out at the end of this month. 2.0 profile, lossless audio codecs (DTS-HD and Dolby HD). $700, though its expected to fall quickly.

Still debating on the ps3 purchase I take it? (If you can wait till the holidays and only want a BD player, the 1.1 profiles are expected to drop below $300)

It was a 360 I was debating (I've decided in favor of it). I could get a PS3 as well, but I'd rather buy a new TV. I found a nice 42" 1080p on sale locally, so I'm going to get that. Maybe later in the year a PS3 will be possible.

Amazon is taking pre-orders on Batman Begins on BD for just shy of $18. Nothing incredibly spectacular, but 10 bucks off is 10 bucks off.
