TITLE: IRON MAN
SCORE: 10/10 !!!!

OK, so... I am a HUGE Comic book fan and I have gone to the premier of almost everyone one of them turned into a movie. Spider-Man... X-Men... The Hulk... etc...

After all is said and done... IRON MAN would have to be THE BEST comic book movie I have ever seen. Now... while this was a very intense action movie, they still managed to strap on some awesome comedy. The humor mixed with the brilliant special effects, aswell as with amazing acting of Robert Downing Jr. -- I would highly recommend this movie to anyone and everyone.

The movie does not follow the comics and cartoons exactly but they managed to put alot of it in where it counts the most! Seeing the actually construction of the suit... Watching him test the suit (with many mishaps I might add lol) ... all the way to him having the suit painted. Its a very detailed look into this franchise.

Now I do not wanna give it all away... but PLEASE.... stay in your seat until after the credits are done... you will see a familiar face and an awesome cliffhanger!

That movie was fucking awesome. Totally defeated my expectations. Relating my expectations to distance, Daredevil was five centimeters away, X-Men 3 was the moon, then Iron Man was somewhere out near Alpha Centauri.

In short: thoroughly impressed, definitely worth repeat viewings.

This movie is well worth the price to see it in the theatre. I don't have the time to go and see movies so if I do they better be damn well worth it. I'd go and see this one AGAIN.....that says a lot.

Saw it on IMAX (even though its not a IMAX movie) the night b4 on a sneak peek thing through a friend and it was great. Best movie i've seen in a LONG time!

Good flick. Even in their detractions from the original story, they kept tie ins. I like how that group was "The Ten Rings", and in the comic it was Mandarin (Mandarin had ten rings that did different things). So the story was modern while still paying homage to the history of the series.

As Spazz said, stay until the credits are done - well worth the wait.

On a side note, I always have the urge to break out Heroes Unlimited after seeing Marvel movies.

i saw it Friday and was amazed, i had a dream about it and i only have dreams about good movies. Then i had a few friends that wanted to see it saturday so i went again to see it. OMG i loved that movie. Today i was at the beach and i took a nap and i kept thinking of iron man and the suite.

Also on a side not Robert Downey Jr. Made the movie, the chemistry that they had was amazing.

Also during filming they did not have the whole script so the actors had to improvise, also Robert is the one that made the speech about the missile that you only need fire once.

I would say it's tied for the third best comic book film with Batman Begins. It was a great movie but I would put SpiderMan 2 and Sin City ahead of it.

Regardless, Iron Man was some of the most fun I've had at the theater in a long time.

I'm hoping the new Hulk film turns out well too.
