  • Finding Cheap JP CDs?

Just wondering where you guys get your imported CDs, and if there's anywhere you can recommend that doesn't cost insane amounts for importing charges. The local JP music shop that doesn't mark up for imports doesn't have the Advent Children soundtrack, and I'm trying to get a copy that doesn't cost $50+ b/c of being imported, but that's all I can find so far by searching for it. I know CDs are typically more expensive in Japan, but that still seems a bit exorbitant to me, and I'm anal about having the actual CDs + sleeve insert, so I rarely download my music.

    Any recommendations would be appreciated^^

There used to be a good place for import stuff based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa called Video Game Depot. That's where I got my copy of Final Fantasy V for the Super Famicon, they also had a large section of imported CDs and DVDs (if you don't particularly want dubbed, international box sets for some anime are cheaper than their US-specific counterparts). I lived within about 20 minutes drive for a while, but they also took orders online so I got stuff that way for a while after I left the state. Unfortunately, last time I checked their site had disappeared and all I could find was one brief news article somewhere about the store having been sold. Anyone from the Cedar Rapids area know anything?

Lunaryn, nothing good ever came out of Iowa.

And especially not Cedar Rapids. Man, I hated that place.
