Forum regulars will remember the "Steven Seagull" incident in The Official Bored at Work thread, particularly the (W/F)ishmaster. (I wonder what Renuardo's Fishing skill level actually is, anyway . . .)

However, I want to know people's personal experiences with misheard songs.

Feba's probably going to either love me or hate me for this one (probably both), but up until a month or two ago, I kept hearing the first line of the chorus to The Foo Fighters' "The Pretender" as . . . well, it's probably best explained like this:

"What if I say I'm not like the others?!"

"One of those things are not like the others!!"

So . . . can anybody top that?

I hear Bomb Factory lyrics usually as something that makes more sense than what they actually are. Like, "Who decides I'm out of my mind? I want to be accepted back," when it's, "Who decides on top of my mind? I wont be stepping back.".

LAZY CAT vs SILLY DOG by m. o. v. e. has become one of my favorite songs, and I've got the lyrics, but there's one part that still bugs me, "I know what love is because I'm a calculator box. They know how to press me, but they don't know what love is." I hear something different every time.

I guess mine aren't as amusing as yours. If I hear something that doesn't sound right I usually look it up.

Can anyone actually understand his songs without having to look up teh lyrics, I saw him live in manchester and I could pick out one or 2 words from the whole song and that was it!
