Lady Deathstrike is the daughter of the scientist that developed the process that bonded the adamantium to Wolverine's skeleton.

Oyamada Yuriko is her real name, if i recall correctly.

She was/is on a quest to kill Wolverine and reclaim his skeleton to honor her father, who was killed, possibly by Wolverine.

She was enhanced by Spiral in her Body Shoppe to be a cyborg with the adamantium blades, among other enhancments.

For a while she hung around with the Reavers, a gang of cyborg criminals, led by the former White King of the Hellfire Club, Donald Pierce.

As best I can recall, she's not a mutant, just bionically enhanced, and majorly psychotic.
