yeah I know they aint anime but they are both on adult swim, and the anime forum is the place tha argument started, so it seemed the best place cuz its the anime forum checkers opinions that mater

I personally like Home Movies better because it has a not so obvious sense of humor.

Family Guy is a little too raunchy for me, but it can be pretty funny.

I prefer Home Movies because it looks like a stupid show, but the comedy is actually quite intelligent.

BTW, Cartoon Network will be taking Futurama off Sundays and replacing it with Family Guy, and Home Movies will take over the Family Guy Sunday slot. So they're not getting rid of Home Movies all the way, but we've lost the daily episodes.

While Family Guy is incredibly raunchy, there are a lot of American culture jokes and satires thrown in that have me rolling on the floor. Home movies just makes me chuckle. =/
