My opinion is that you are better off saving the money each month and buying it later...

Or, to continue on this line of thought for Malacite, most companies offer a "credit card (what you're talking about) and have special 0% APR for (6,12,18,24, ect months), just divide your total purchase by each month, and pay that each month. The payments they tell you are the Minimum payments, there is never a max (and if there is, never go with that company).

One way to get credit easilly, is to essentially take out two loans when you buy your car, take out the loan from the car dealership (make sure to read all the paperwork, so there are no hidden clauses, take it home, read it over), and take one out from your bank with the same amount of money, Pay off the car dealership in 1-2 months, then just pay off the bank, the APR is 8 times out of 10 cheaper (compare it).

          1080p vs 1080i vs 720p

Personally I never use interlaced unless I have no choice, 1080p pwns all but 720p looks much better than 1080i in my opinion, although your millage may vary.

Edit > As a side note 720p displays are capable of running @1080i.

That's because progressive scan is so much better.

Yes indeed, but even so I've seen people say they actually like 1080i more (than 720p) for some reason, so I guess it's a matter of personal opinion. /shrug

1080i is a higher resolution, but the image quality of 720p is better thanks to the progressive scan.
