A couple other Questions:
1. Was there a reason that Jazz's part was so short? He was one of the coolest Autobots, and his part was reduced to some "wack" Jive talk and then getting ripped in two pieces.
6. Almost forgot, Why in the movie did megatron say to starscream, "you failed me again." I mean, was it not megatron who got him self frozen ?

1)Jazz to the writers was that of the cool, in style person, so thats what they do for his persona in this age.
6)For the symbolic Megatron vs Starstream spats we all know and love from G1

Ultra Magnus was another truck in the original cartoon. Just a truck that carried other vehicles. Like the ones you see that deliver cars from the manufactor to the dealership. I do not think he is very cool.

And hell no on that GIMP Rodimus!!! He ruined all of the transformer cartoons. He was a f'n winabago. /em shakes head.

Now... the one i am waiting for is "Omega Supreme"

I refuse to see the transformers movie purely because you do not commercialize childhood fantasies.

Good god I hope that's sarcasm because Transformers in and of itself was created as a giant Toy Commercial. Every show, from G1 to G2 to Beastwars to Beastmachines to RiD to Armada to Energon to Cybertron to this movie to the upcoming "Transformers: Animated" airing next spring has been *nothing* but a giant toy commercial. The only thing that *wasn't* a toy commercial was the comics, but those are only popular with the fans anyway, and even some of them got toys too!

On topic:
6. Why is that that little crazy (soundwave wanna be) touched the cube and regenerated, while Bumble Bee couldn't regenerate his legs?
7. Why is that every time that cube made something come to life, it became so murderous? (as opposed to 50/50 murderous and non-murderous)
9. Why is that all the Transformers had to examine a vehicle to become it, and Megatron was just a jet? Wasn't he supposed to be a gun anyway?

6. Continuity error. The Allspark wasn't even responsible for fixing BBs voice.
7. When created directly from the Allspark, the robots are primitive and aggressive. When created properly via it's housing on Cybertron, the bots are sentient and intelligent, capable of making their own choices.
9. One, a transforming gun is a dumb alt mode for anything other then a toy. It's why Megatron *hasn't* been a gun since the original series. If anything he should have been a tank, because that's what he's been the most, but an alien Jet is more menacing because flight is a *very* powerful weapon. Also, he chose not to take an 'earth form' because hiding as a 'primitive human machine' would be beneath him and an insult to his perfection.

2. Where was Prime's Cannon? Did they forget about his Uber powerful cannon? And when he made the sword appear, did anyone else think it was odd? I mean in the cartoon he made an Axe and megatron made a mace. But a sword?
3. Where was Chip? No wheel chaired human genius helping them.
4. I heard in the 2nd movie sound wave is supposed to be introduced. And in the 3rd. movie it is supposed to be Shock wave.
5. Most importantly: Where was Tele Tran One?

1. Agreed, but they say it was due to cost and time restraints
2. He used it, but it wasn't really featured. Much like all the suped up weaponry the bots used, they were there but not given much focus. And yes teh sword was 'odd', but not the first time he had one. They probably felt it was more 'heroic' looking.
3. Sequels!
4. It's possible and probable. They attempted to fit him into this film *many* times. He *was* the helicoptor, the cop car and the stereo robot, but they changed it each time.
5. They had a system similar to Tele Tran 1 built into them, similar to the pods and protoforms of Beastwars.
6. Starscream failed to secure the Allspark, though Starscream never intended to free Megs in the firstplace. Plus, fanwank.

Ultra Magnus. Him and Hot Rod. I kan't wait.
Oh good Lord, who was the last one to hold the spark (In the timeline I think it was Rodimus Prime)?
I wonder what Ultra Magnus will be (if he is in fact in any of the movies). He was a VERY uber Spaceship in one of the animated shows not out long ago.

Optimus took the Matrix back causing Rodimus to revert back to Hotrod in the show. He then used it to cure the massive plague that was killing all the TFs. And Magnus was *never* a spacecraft. He was a Car Carrier in G1, and basically just a repainted prime with armor. In the RiD show, he came back as a Car Carrier again, but hasn't been seen in a show since then. You might be thinking of Jetfire as the cool spaceship.

A funny side note for all still reading this thread, I found a funny video clip on you tube that you all should check out.

Search for "Shock Wave's Burden" on You tube. There are a couple other vids by the same user, i think his name is "Dr Smoov" or something like that. But believe me, they are funny.

I probably am. I stopped trying to pay attention to any sort of continuity, because shows have a habit of messing that up. (Read: Any DC or Marvel storyline)

And yeah, a quick (well, "all-morning") read of Wikipedia pretty much explains the Transformer series for people like me who never watch, all the shows, read all the comics but are still interested in the general Universe of the characters.

Nobody made any mention of "busting some Deceptichops" or "beating some Decepticreeps" tho.

That made me a little sad.
