Many emo songs are actually love songs. Many "American" songs are love songs. Not all "emo music" is cutting wrists and such, although alot of it is.


And if you're saying writting a song about love or how you feel/felt about someone is somehow blowing a problem out of proportion, then you're wrong.

Thing is, emo love songs are whiney and annoying, if you want a good love song, listen to The Beetles or hell, just turn the radio to a country station, all they've got is "I LOVE THIS COUNTRY" "I LOVE THIS CHICK" and "I LOVE LIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE WITH MY COWS"

Only time I listen to the radio anymore is at work. Then its either country, which everyone else seems to love and I barely tolerate, or a classic rock station since the other rock station plays songs that patients that are within earshot might have a problem with.

As for good (or maybe atleast funny) country songs: Love me, love this town, love this mother lovin' truck that keeps break the lovin' down, love me.
