Can't wait for the movie. Christian Bale is easily the best Batman/Bruce Wayne out of the actors so far (lolClooney)...but just one thing bugs me:

* Before Maggie Gyllenhaal replaced Katie Holmes in the role of Rachel Dawes, both Rachel McAdams and Emily Blunt were rumored for the part.

JESUS I hate this. If you can't get the same actor back to play a part...DON'T WRITE THAT CHARACTER IN. "Oh hi, I got plastic surgery in the past couple months to look completely different. But I'm still the same person. Promise." I mean...hell, why don't they just put a narrator over her first appearance..."The part of Rachel Dawes will now be played by Maggie Gjallarhorn."

Heath Ledger as the Joker...I have to say, at first hearing it I was skeptical. But...I dunno. I think he'll pull it off. I think he's a better actor than he's given credit for.

Though Paul Bettany would have been a VERY interesting Joker.

Dunno why Rachel is recurring as a love interest anyway, Batman love interests are the most disposable of any superhero out there.

Just get a new chick. Or just write Rachel out. Not like she matters at any rate. Vicki Vale, Silve St. Cloud, Vesper Fairchild... where are they now? Gone, dead or just plain vanished. As long as there's the rare fling with Catwoman, that's pretty much as good as love gets for Batman.

Of course, WB ruined the Catwoman name for years with that terrible Halle Berry flick, so we're out of luck on a Catwoman til people forget about that one.

No more James Bond films? Honestly, I don't see what the problem is, as long as the actor does a good job, it's the character you should be concerned about.
