My favorite J-pop is Aiko, Misia, em... yeah. I have a Southern All-stars single but I don't listen to it much. Oh, Funta and White Berry are fun. Speed is ok too.

No, but as for "Do As Infinity's" song, Tooku Made... it's alright... but nothing that special. The ones I mentioned before are better IMO.Failure is the true path to Success.

Smap all the way man, they might not be able to sing for crap but theyre funny ppl. Them and Tokio. Tho Tokio i give credit to, they play their own intruments.
If you didnt know, some bands in japan (quite a few of the pop ones) host their own tv shows. The ones I like are SmapxSmap (that is done by... SMAP) and Tetsuwan DASH (done by TOKIO) they're both like variety comedy shows. great stuff if ur japanese and understadnd the context^^
lots of the bands that are made by companies star in drama's too. That's why japanese pop music is sometimes not that great, cos pop bands that are manufactured (they do the best, possibly in the world, smap has been going for maybe 12 years? and are still one of the most favored pop bands) anyway the bands that are manufactured choose ppl that are multi-talented, that can sing, act, be funny, look good, maybe play an instrument, but if you've heard the Smap lead singer, he CANT sing, he is honestly the worst singer in the industry possibly, the thing is, he's funny, women find him cute, and he can dance real well.
anyway, im going on... lol

i like some j-pop, it really depends for me
hehehe there's one group i think "Morning Musume"
its like a group of 16 some odd girls, they seem so funny
that other dude that dresses like a dominatrix in that one video
tm something i cant think of it at the moment, he's a funny guy too but i like the opening theme he did for Rurouni Kenshin "Heart of Sword"
and im a bit of an ayumi fan just because so many djs remix her songs"no matter where you go you are what you are playa
and you can try to change but that's just the top layer
