Yeah, I might go through MP Trilogy again sometime soon, probably on Veteran difficulty this time. Prime ended on a steep difficulty spike and MP2 picked up where that left off. MPT softened the the difficulty of the Normal modes to make both feel a bit more even, but Veteran is a bit more rough like the originals.. Its really amazing how well those two games aged and stand up well against todays games.
I am REALLY tempted to pick up Halo 4 for the fact that its giving off this huge Metroid Prime vibe in its enemy, weapon and level design on top of the OST even evoking a bit of MP as well. Probably because 343 Studio's lead designer is formerly of Retro Studios. Could be a factor.
