They were one of my favorite bands, mostly due to their guitarist's ability to make things sound complex despite being the only guitarist, and the vocalist being incredibly, stupidly hot. I met her once at Warped to get a CD signed, and I seriously morphed into a drooling fool and could barely muster "you guys had a great set". So. Hot.

Something I've been toying with all day, checking wikipedia pages of my favorite bands, and I've learned of the sideprojects of many of my favorites that broke up, and also FUCK YES FINCH IS BACK TOGETHER and recording a new CD.

And, on topic: On the way to get lunch flipped on the radio, Firehouse "All She Wrote". I love hair metal.

I haven't heard a song by Timber(a? er?)land himself(as opposed to one he just produced/cameo'd on) since I bought Welcome to our World on cassette when I was a freshman in high school lol...assuming he's still good, he makes some pretty amazing beats...

You have no idea how beautiful this sounds to me as I once again wonder the woods of Ronfaure to train my Tarudin. Seriously, when I saw the video length, I thought it would overstay its welcome, but every second of that was so flipping beautiful.

^^ my sentiments exactly. I really hate how Naoshi Mizuta's handled every expansion since Nobuo left SE. Not that his work is bad, but they just lack that drama and sense of being there that Nobuo's music creates.

IMO, none of the FF's would have been anywhere as great without his music.
