^^ my sentiments exactly. I really hate how Naoshi Mizuta's handled every expansion since Nobuo left SE. Not that his work is bad, but they just lack that drama and sense of being there that Nobuo's music creates.

IMO, none of the FF's would have been anywhere as great without his music.

I agree, part of what makes Final Fantasy so wonderful is the theatrical nature involved in each game. The music draws you into the storyline deeper, and long after when you hear the music alone you still remember what was happening. It brings tears to my eyes that Nobuo left.. At least we have the memories.

I do like some of the new work that he has done, but I will agree with you that Nobuo did a better job at in especially in the older FF series especially FF7 that music makes me cry!
