Favorite Japanese singer/song?

Hey all, what would be your favorite Japanese singer? I`d have to say mine is Ayumi Hamasaki.

I love her music, and my favorite song is Evolution

Aiko is pretty good, as well as Hikaru Utada and BoA. Well, who is your fav singer/song?

Heh, Japanese music is my favorite kind. Funny you should mention Evolution, I was just listening to it while reading your post. Yeah, I would say Ayumi Hamasaki is definately up there, but there are many more artists worth mention. A few of my favorites include Megumi Hayashibara, Lapis Lazuli (they did all of GGX's music), Koda Kumi (FFX-2), BoA, Matsuda Seiko, and many more... I got a list, but these are some of my favorites. I'd say my favorite song atm would be "Tamashii no Rufuran" by Yoko Takahashi. Can't say I've found any of her other songs, but I really like this one. Starts out calm and.. Well, you know how j-pop is. It gets into a quicker beat but nothing too intense. Yeah, anyways, I feel like I'm rambling so I'll stop here. I do suggest downloading it though. It is from the Eva series... not sure where or when it is played though... Anyways... yeah

Hmmm I can't say I have a favorite artist since I really only listen to Japanese songs , from games and anime. But I do have a fair share of songs... Funny I listen to heavy metal and other yelling rock , then i'll be listening to Japanese pop music. I'll put my current favorite songs down.

See-Saw/Yuki Kajiura is very talented. Have a couple of their songs outside of the .hack soundtracks.

T.M. Revolution and Two-Mix can get really old really quick, but I don't mind listening to them in occasional, sudden bursts :sweat:

Asian Kung-Fu Generation they did the second(i think) opening for naruto. the songs i've managed to hear are really good as well i just started listening to Ayumi Hamasaki, she's very good! I also like Rikki(Suteki Da Ne - FFX, Pure Heart(Aeriths theme)).
