Anyone ever heard of 'the pillows'? They were the ones who compiled the music for FLCL (Furi Kuri) anime. It's the best OST I've ever heard. My current fave songs are Hybrid Rainbow, Ride on Shooting Star, Little Busters, and Skeleton Liar.

I've heard of the pillows, yes. Although they are good, I have to disagree that it's the best OST out there. My personal favourite OST's = both of the Macross Plus OST's.... Hauntingly beautiful is the best way to describe the soundtracks I would have to say.

I haven't heard the Macross plus OST before. I might check out the anime later, but that's until I finish Mahoromatic, Hack//dusk, Kanon, Onegai sensei, a whole backload missed anime :sweat:

Youve never heard of them because hardcore bands try to stay underground. Hardcore is an elitist scene. The hardcore fans keep it underground because its something special that we have, that hasn't been tainted by pop culture. Just because youve never heard of a band doesnt mean that they arent good. The bands that i mentioned are some of most talented bands i have ever heard in my opinion. Their music isn't geared towards getting you too buy their music or to be played on the radio. Instead the music is geared towards spreading their message. Also if you've never heard of the bands i listed...im not sure if you know what hardcore is, because those are some of the most well known. Finally, i find that hardcore bands put on some of the best live shows, with every single fan there screaming the words, fists pumping, the overrall sense of unity of the people there. Hardcore is music for expression, not for profit.
