RAP offensive?

I dont find rap offensive at all. I dont like so of the new rappers though, I just like some of the old rap like N.W.A and EAZY - E songs "Cruisin' down the street in my '64 " you know how the rest goes

NWA is why rap is so negitive now, when they first came out and was like FUCK THE PIGS!!! everyone was like, "no-way, they didnt just say that?" but everone, well most ppl that listend to em, concured, so they told there freinds and was like "ya them dudes is awsome!" tapes started to sell like mad, so other ppl where like "hey that seems like a good way to make money" but they wernt doin it for the soul and the story they wer doin it for the money, say they tryed to one-up em, (as far as shock-value goes) them the next guy tryed to one-up them and so-on and so on, so now there is no soul and story in MOST rap its all "cock bitch with glock down her fuckin hole, ima blow that bitches head off and skull rape her cuz shes just a bitch" or its just ppl gloating about how they got a mil from selling thems stoopid records about having money...

In my opinion, rap requires no talent at all. It's just someone talking and there are little sound effects going off in the background, like car engines and lasers. I listen to Cradle Of Filth which has the be THE best metal band out there! I dont see what the hype is about bands like slipknot, i just think nu metal like that is shit. I only listern to Black Metal and Heavy Metal.

why is rap offensive? cuz that is what up to date rape fans want to hear, not rape that is 10 years old.... you may think people like 50cent or eminem are stupid beacuse of the lryics they sing, but there the ones that are making a millions each year for doing it. and millions of people in other countrys keep buying it, so if people keep buying it, more rap we me made, and more rap will be sold. It will be a never ending process until a new type of music is made and tunrs out to be more popular than rape, but i dont think that will ever happen.

Uh im 14 yrs old.. and i spent a LARGE portion of my life listening to Rap and hip-hop and i really didn't see anything offense in it really.. Although their lyrics are.. really kinda weird.. mostly about them grownin up in the projects and shooting people and its stil the same to me... lol i really don't care what they do or what theve done as long as they got a good beat to it... THe swearing and stuff in the songs.. don't really bother me but.... i rather not have it there. anyhow if it's what they like? then leave em be!


Ive listened to Tupac (especially Pac... he is God), Notorious B.I.G, Coolio, Snoop Dog, Binary Star, Eminem, Dr.Dre, Public Enemy, Nas, Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, P .Diddy and i can go on for a while. Well, if it gets money in their pockets.. then so be it.. lol

Some rap is ok I guess......its pretty boring sometimes though.....a repititious background music plays while some guy talks about how he fucked up his life or who he wants to kill.....I like rock more than rap.......but rock can be just as offensive.....

A lot of people like this.....I myself don't like to listen to people sing about how they're gonna kill themselves, or how they're gonna fuck a whore......but thats just me.:sweat: Im not surprised that Rap is the best selling music........seeing how everyone wants to be in ghetto....

Rap is a horrible embarrassment to a race that is really responsible for Jazz. People will still be talking about and playing Jazz in 200 years, while rap will be a joke.

Rap contributes nothing to society while it usually causes it to lose something. Rap perpetuates being a thug. It is not uplifting.
It is degenerative. It isn't really "new" music, since it is mostly just samples and simple rhyming.

Its especially hilarious since muchof it actually has to be censored, even on MTV. You flip by and see a rap video and every other word is missing. What is the point of making "music" which is like that? Rap is everything that your parents, grandparents or great-grandparents said was wrong with rock and jazz. The difference is that those things are actually wrong with rap.

Hahaha You know nothing about hip-hop. You just hear the singles that they put out on the radio and glance at the videos for and you assume that that's what it's about. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't speak on it.
