RAP offensive?

I listen to rap most of the time and why is rap so negativly? I remeber back n the day Rap was cool but now.. RAP is about getting Dr*gs, killing people, getting h*es? why did it change into killing people does people like this new school rap? I liked the old school one because it's not THAT offensive as rappers now

i love rap, i love all kinds of music, well not all kinds. But i do agree, rap is all negative now. And always will be negative. Nothing will be able to stop it. But Rap is like the number one top selling music these days. And if you dont like it, i guess just get out your banner and wast your whole life trying to stop it.

I can't change what the rappers say that's ture but they are all phony. But there stupid rappers now are people acting "FAKE" I mean if you were to make a Raping CD of peace and love it won't happen lol they want volioince.

Yeah, alot of rap is just stupid now. There is SOME good rap but most of it is just lame ass shit about "hoes" or "bling bling". I mean even Eminem usually has a message behind his stuff.... and at least his is funny some of the time

true 50 is a little overrated. Also Rap is a big thing right now, but it will never be bigger than thoes songs you hear on the Radio from 40 years ago. Rap will never be that big of a thing.

It's all about personal prefence. I used to listen to rap back in Junior High School. Some Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, etc. But now I'm out of school (4 years now), I've moved on to other forms of music, like Gothic Rock or different types of Metal. Some of my friends like rap & I'm okay with that. I'm not going to dog 'em about it, it's what they like. Some people just don't know how to handle things in life... rap being one of them. It's a never ending battle that will continue after we're all passed away... Zzzz

Not ALL rap is offensive.. i.e. nas is the man and hes usually not talkin bout killin ppl or wutnot. Like "I Can" his song with the like Beethoven background, its all about whats wrong that kids are doin like drugs and sex or wutever and how to avoid them and live a good life! SO THERE :p

i, personally, dont like rap. and, im sure thats because of the stuff that i've heard now-a-days. i know that the older stuff is not nearly as stupid as this new-fangled stuff, but still its just not my thing. to me, most of the new rap seems really childish and just "feel good" music. almost nothing these new-age "rappers" rap about holds any truth whatsoever... but then again, like i said, rap is just not my cup of tea
